Only Murders in the Building (Hulu): Steve Martin and Martin Short team up in this highly anticipated new series. The comedians join Selena Gomez as unlikely neighbors in a historic Upper West Side apartment building…where a murder takes place. The Great British Baking Show (Netflix): Follow a group of amateur bakers as they compete in a series of kitchen challenges, attempting to impress judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith with their baking skills. May the best pastry win!
Modern Love, Season 2 (Amazon Prime): I’m so excited that one of my favorites from last year is back! Featuring Minnie Driver, Kit Harrington, Lucy Boynton, and Anna Paquin, this new season brings to life eight stories based on essays from the Sunday New York Times.
The Chair (Netflix): If you ask me, Sandra Oh can do no wrong. I love her as the lead character in this series! The Chair follows the first woman of color to be selected to head the English Department at an elite college. Best of all, you can binge watch this series in a weekend.
The Next Thing You Eat (Hulu): A six-episode docuseries from chef David Chang, founder of the Momofuku restaurant chain, and Academy Award–winning documentary filmmaker Morgan Neville. The series explores the changes happening all around us and how they affect not only the restaurant world but people’s fundamental relationship to food. Discover how food is grown, who cooks it, how we pay for it, and whether deliciousness will fall by the wayside. Premieres October 21.
